The study of a professional space is always challenging, since there is a limited timeframe to complete the project always taking into account the function of the space as well as the personal aesthetic and style of the professional who requires our assistance.
In this particular case, besides dance lessons, the school houses other activities such as yoga and aerial arts, while it also has the capability to host shows and events so besides the specific technical demands, an important aim was the achievement of a special style and atmosphere to determine the identity of the space.
Bearing in mind these requirements, we chose to use printed wallpapers of classic photographs and posters with dance themes which combined with the preserved original mosaic floors and the vintage reconstructed furniture in the lobby give an extremely authentic but not at all pretentious style.
